Blood Test Positive For Sore Tail Bone. What Does It Mean?

My daughter had a blood test for her sore tail bone called I think A and A and apparently its come back positive and my Dr can't see us until next week, what does this mean. I have a feeling he mentioned before the tests something like auto immune disease. A week is so long to get feedback from her results. Any help appreciated.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.

From description it seems to be rheumatoid arthritis.
I would like to tell you about nature of the disease so that you can better understand the disease.
It is an autoimmune disease, which means the body's immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue and is also a long-term disease that leads to inflammation of the joints and surrounding tissues.
It requires treatment in form of medication (like anti-inflammatory drugs, Disease modifying antirheumatoid drugs and biological), physical therapy, exercise and possibly surgery.

Early, aggressive treatment for RA can delay joint destruction

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
