Blood Work Shows High Monocyte Count, High White Blood Cell Count, Head Pain. Reason?
My blood work showed a high monocyte count and a high white blood cell count but not high enough to be concerned cording to my doctor. I have spent almost two weeks with head pain paired with an inability to raise my head without many symptoms such as vertigo and intense pain. Are there any conditions in the brain that have to do with high monocyte count?
Hi, Thank you for posting your query. High monocyte count is not associated with any serious internal brain problem. So, there is no need to be worried about it. You should only screen for any systemic infection, if the white blood cell count remains high. Please get back if you require any additional information.
