Boils Around Lips Its Burning, Swollen. Used Many Skin Ointments But Its Sill Persisting. Medical Cure For This?

Dear Doctor,

I am having boils around my lip margins which is swollen and has a burning sensation for last 6 months. I have consulted specialists over this period, creams like Eumosen M , Fucidin , Elocon, Fudic , Azithral 500 mg , Facelin , were administered but the problem is persisting. I use Cetaphil facewash/ Cetaphil moisturiser n Cetaphil cream for my face or cacked lips. My age is 30 n I am a male , kindly help , thanks !

Greetings of the day
Painful boils around the lips are likely to be due to Herpes labialis. It's causes by Herpes simplex virus and hence causes recurrent lesion. Use of anti viral ointment like acyclovir will help.
