Bone Cysts In The Forehead. How Many Days Is Required For Surgery And Approximate Cost?

my doctors mentioned I have 3 bone cysts in the forehead. I sometimes bumped it and it hurts. I went to a outpatient derm surgeon clinic, and they decline to remove it. Was it scary to get it remove and how long I have to be out of work to get it done. Is hospital surgeon will remove it and approximately how much does it cost, since I think my insurance will not cover it. Thanks!

Hi thanks for your question.
You are having bony cyst on forehead.Bony cysts or exostosis are not removed by dermotologist.Any general surgeon can remove it.It is an outdoor procedure done under local anaesthesia.Procedure will take aprximately half an hour time and you will be back home same day.Nothing to worry not a dangerous procedure.Cost of procedure vary from place to place and from Hospital to Hospital and even from surgeon to surgeon.But won't be much, in thousands only
