Breast Feeding, Having Scanty Periods. Could I Be Pregnant ?
hi i am breast feeding my baby for over one year now. ( 1yr and 2 months) My periods started very scantily last december. I got my period in January after 30 days. Very scantily too. I should have started my period (30 day cycle) on the 4th Jan. I still haven t got it. We do natural family planning . I m scared I might be pregnant. Is it common to have scanty periods while breast feeding?
in your case it is absolutlely fine no need to worry..some time women experient scanty period...and some time no period during the entire course of breast feeding,.called(LACTATIONAL AMMENORRHEA) USUALLY PERIOD COME TO the normal cycle after frequency of breast feeding decreased/completely stopped...thank.
Hi, During breast feeding period might be absent or delayed or might be scanty. But as you are observing abstinence, chance of having pregnancy is less. Ok and take care.
