ultrasound findings, you are having increased endometrial thickness.
This can be due to
hormonal effect in perimenopausal age group.
Can also be some proliferate problem.
So, according to your age and symptoms, better to go for D&C as advised by your doctor.
This will helps for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
If the histopathological examination shows changes only due to hormonal effect, hormonal pills may cure the problem.
Otherwise treatment to be taken accordingly to the cause.
Usually after attaining
menopause, the growth of the fibroids will stop, so no need to worry.
