Bruise On Bridge Of Nose, No Known Trauma. No Headache. Can You Help?
Hi, I woke up this morning and the bridge of my nose feels bruised, i tried to put make up on but its feels like I'm pressing on a really bad bruise and hurts too much. I asked my partner if he had punched me in the nose whilst we were sleeping or something but apparently not. Can you help me? I have no other problems with my nose no headache or anything, just the feeling of a badly bruise bridge of nose!!

as per the history and clinical features, I can say that you have infection of the skin over the nose and that could be due to post infection bite or skin breach due minimal trauma with which you may not be aware. I would suggest you to start broad spectrum antibiotic and analgesics. you can apply steroidal cream over the lesion.
But still I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer.
