Bruise, Swelling Above Eyebrow After Being Hit By A Canister. Normal?

Three days ago a canister fell off the top shelf of my pantry and hit me on the forehead above my left eyebrow. I applied ice immediately but I still have a bruise and swelling. I am experiencing pressure around that area and across my forehead with some nausea. Is this normal and for how long? Is a CT scan necessary? I don t want to make an unnecessary trip to the ER. Thank you for any advice. Patti

An injury over the forehead three days ago with out any bleeding from the nose and ear do not a big problem to take ct scan. It may be a simple contusion it will subside.
