Bruised And Bit Swollen Arm Due To Dog Bite. History Of Broken Skin, Watered, Peroxided, Bandaged. Infection?

My vaccinated dogs were playing and I got my arm in the way of their teeth. Skin broken, I soap and watered, peroxided, bandaged the area. This was last night. Arm feels fine, wound isn't oozing etc but the area is bruised and a bit swollen. People do bruise after dog bite, yes? I am watching it for any signs of infection but I was surprised by the bruising.

Hello,

I do not think there is something you should worry about. The bruising might just be as a result of dental pressure exerted on your arms as a result of the dog's teeth.
Just keep an eye on the bite zone for signs of infection but with the first care that you have given yourself, I doubt very much if you will be having any infections.

Hope this helps
