Bruised Foot, Not Broken, Swollen. Applied Ice. Keeping Feet Up. Anything Else?

June 8 my foot was an over by a fork lift. My bruise was on my side of my foot but now the toes are bruised and get darker. Nothing is broken but very swelling. I am keeping it up and ice it. In 2 weeks I see a podiatrist. I know that I have nerve and muscle damage..what do I until I see the podiatrist? Email YYYY@YYYY

Hello, if your sensations are intact, no need to worry. Just keep your feet clean and elevated on a pillow and take some analgesic till you see the doctor. Thank you

Hello ,

I have studied your case.

Take rest , keep your foot clean and watch for signs of inflammation.

You can start analgesic and anti inflammatory.
Take vitaminD with calcium
do hot and cold fomentation
Apply crepe bandage.
it will take around 2 -3 weeks more to heal completely
