Bruised The Bone On Right Hand. Made Incision To Drain The Fluid. Now Swelling And Pressure. What To Do?
My husband thought he bruised the bone of his right hand right below the inside of gis pinky, the next day his hand had swollen up that it looked like his fingers would craxk open. By the endof the day infection, had set in. We thought it to be a spider bite, until he found out it could be a bot fly. He decided the pressure in his hand was too great so he made a very small incisi okn to allow fluid to drain. Everytging seemed to be going very well until swelling and pressure returned. He is alreqdy taking an antibiotic, what can he do ti stop sqelking and pressure?
You should not do it at home. You are allowing the way for infection to your hand.At this stage i will not allow to do any type of self treatment. It will be best in your interest to consult to your doctor as early as possible. This may need elevation, injectable antibiotics & a good analgesic for relief.
Hope this will help you.
With best wishes.
