Hi I have a bump in vigina area and it hurts and its hard and circular and circular I ve noticed a pain for 2 days now and today noticed that it is hard and circular today. I m a little worried do you know what it could be? I woke up with it and hope you know what it is.
The most likely causes of such bumps are a condition called bartholins cyst or abscess which is an infection of the bartholins gland present in the labia majora. It responds to antibiotics and pain killers and sometimes may need to be drained. Other reasons are vaginal cysts and sebaceous cysts [ infections of sebaceous glands].
So just see your doctor. Most causes will be treated by antibiotics and if it is a vaginal wall cyst then it will need to be drained.
