Bump Of Fluid On Right Hand After Hurting Wrist Due To Falling. Is There Any Treatment?

I have a bump of fluid on my right hand that goes over veins and nerves...I have had this since I was in the 3rd grade when I broke both my wrist falling off the monkey bars...I have gone to several Dr.'s but none of them actually listen to me, it hurts when I move my wrist a certain way, and hurts really bad during serve storms, also I can't play basketball anymore because of it. I am only 18, what is it and what can I do it make it go away without further injuring my hand?

Hi,

It seems to be Ganglion Cyst, which more common after Injury. Generally, your doctor can tell if your bump is a ganglion cyst by conducting a simple biopsy of the tissue.

More often that not, however, wrist lumps are completely harmless or easily removed. Visit your doctor as soon as you find the lump; waiting until it becomes painful could put you at risk for wrist fractures or greater pain.

But there are chances that it may re-appear after removal.

Regards
