Bump On Belly, Pus Filled, Hard. Any Clues?

My daughter has a bump that started on her belly a day or two ago. It started out looking like a pimple with a white head. She just turned nine. We popped it and puss came out. Now it has gotten bigger, is hard and larger under the skin around the bump, and has a small hole in the center of it. Any clues to what it could be? Please email at YYYY@YYYY

Hi
It is inflammation and infection of the umbilicus.
1. She needs
treatment
1. To see a doctor if there is residual pus anff wheter needs drainage.
2, Antibiotics.

Prevention
1. Hygiene- daily cleaning at bath.
2. Check the area periodically to prevent dirt accumulation.
