Bump On Forearm, Underneath Skin, Surrounded By Redness, Can Feel This Bump By Pressing

Hi. My husband has a bump on his foreharm, underneath the skin. It's surrounded by redness. About three inches white and one and half inches tall. No itching, it's not hot. No other signs of infection. No puss. It's white in the center where the bump is, and when you press you can feel it underneath the skin. It's been there for a day and a half now. The bump is about the size of a Lima bean.
