A few weeks a go I had a bump appear on my outer labia it stings when I touch it and burns when I pee also it's very itchy.. Just a day ago another bump appeared on the other labia I think where the other bump touched it. Any idea what it could b I went to the gyn I was told i have chlamydia but do said the bump dried up so he couldn't do a culture if it
Hello, If you have chlamydia, it can be diagnosed from the cervix or urine. Samples are collected from the cervix with a swab or small brush. Urine Test - do not urinate for 2 hours before the test. Do not wipe the genital area clean before urinating. Collect the first part of your urine stream, immediately as you begin urinating. Confirm the diagnosis and get treatment. Best wishes
Hello, Welcome to Healthcaremagic. There are many causes for Bump in Vaginal labia. Some causes are cysts, boils, Herpes infection, chlamydia etc.. Swab taken from vaginal infection to be examined and treatment is need appropriately. If it is fungal infection, you may need Antifungals for treatment. Thus treatment vary foe all disease. If left untreated, it may lead to Pelvic inflammatory disease. Treatment for your partner also is necessary.
