Bump On Roof Of Mouth, Painful, Pressure Sensation, Nerves Painful. Suggest?
I have a small bump in the back left corner of the roof of my mouth, right at the end of my hard palate. It is the size of a small pea and is painful when pressure is applied and it can move a little . My dentist referred me to an oral surgeon because he wasn't sure what it was . I really just want my nerves calmed while I wait for the oral surgeon appt

The bump developed at the hard palate may be due to-
Deep dental caries progressed into periapical abscess.
Gingivitis lead into periodontal abscess.
Removable dentures/orthodontic appliances inserted.
I would advice you to get clinical evaluation done by your dentist to rule out the cause of bump arised.
The pus has to be drained and curetted.
Discontinue use of appliances/dentures if causing irritation.
Root canal treatment has to be done if required.
