Bump On The Head Post Accident, Consistent Pain, Scar. Recovery Time?
I have a bump on my head from an accident over a year and a half ago. My cousin picked me up and I fell backwards hitting my head on a end table. I did not go to the ER but I should of. When I was bleeding I was burning up but it went away. I went to the dr s office 5 days later. I had a concussion and a scalp contusion. I was having headaches and was was given naproxen . I had to get an MRI of the brain because the headaches would not go away but everything was fine. I still have a bump and there is a scar . The bump started to hurt again. Should it still take this long to heal? thank you

First of all, I would like to reassure you that your current symptoms do not suggest any serious internal brain injury, as more than one and half year has passed since your injury. Both concussion and scalp hematoma would have healed by now.
Your symptoms could be related to the nerve injury of the scalp nerves. Pian arising from an injured nerve may occur for long.
Taking pregabalin capsules would be helpful.
