Burning In Vagina After Taken Phergen For Nausea. Is Phergen Safe To Take Vaginally?
My doctor prescribed phergen for nausea and wrote that he wanted me to take it vaginally. I did and it resulted in severe burning in my vagina and burning urine. When I called the office they said to take it rectally, which I have been doing today. My vagina is still burning. Should I be concerned about this? Is phenergen even safe to take vaginally?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Phenergan is taken as suppository per rectally. It is an anti histamine drug. Not indicated to take vaginally. Since your vagina is burning wash with clean and warm water for 3 to 4 times, get done urine microscopy to rule out any infection and since it require examination consult your doctor for examination and management. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
