Burning Pain On The Left Side Towards The Back Around The Bra Line. Any Ideas ?

Hello. This is a bit difficult to explain, but I'm feeling a burnning pain in my side. It is on left side towards my back around the height of my bra line. The pain felt like an insect bite at first, but when i checked there wasn't one. There is nothing visual, but pain is spreading and getting worse over the past 4 days . I am currently nursing my 5 month old. Any ideas?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

It is difficult to tell the exact cause without examining.
The possible causes for your problem are:
-Some sort of inflammatory reaction due to possible breast infection.
-Pressing of bra elastic on same point leading to pressure symptoms.
So if the symptoms persist or increase, once consult gynecologist and get examined.
Changing the bra size or avoiding wearing for few hours can help.
