Dear Smith,
Their is nothing to panic about. On reading your case history , i would like to inform you that in cases with history of ingestion / inhalation of foregin bodies patients are likely to have coughing, hoarseness, and shortness of breath from an object in the trachea or voice box area, but also might have swallowing difficulty from pressure on the esophagus. A chest radiograph (CXR) is invariably requested. This may provide clues to the diagnosis . If nothing is detected in the radiograph their are chances that you might be suffering from a throat infection and the treatment will be henceforth advised.
