Burning Sensation Inside Knees. What Is The Cause Of This?
I have a burning sensation on the inside of my knees. Not sore to the touch. No known injuries, but I am 69 years old and active (e.g., walking, golfing, yoga). Often the burning sensation intensifies while I am asleep at night. Placing a pillow between my knees when laying on my side helps. Normal wear and tear for my age?

2. Any associated LBA?
3. you haven't mentioned about the DURATION of your symptoms?
4. is burning sensation experienced along with any tingling sensation or numbness in leg?
5. no History of Trauma: then could be due to Arthritis, Iliotibial band syndrome, patellar malalignment, patellar tendonitis, compression-entrapment of nerve
6. have a X-ray/MRI of knee joint alongwith Complete blodd count with Sed. Rate.
