Burning Sensation While Drinking Or Having Food, Choking, Sore Glands In Neck. Taking Antibiotics For Tonsillitis. Opinion?
I have had a bad throat and the doctor said I had tonsillitus he put me on antibiotics. I have terrible burning when I eat /drink and still lots of pain when I swallow. I have been taking pain relief but not a great help. Last night I had a massive choking episode where I just could not get my breath it was really scary. My glands on my neck are sore as well but this tends to come and go.
Hi, As you are on antibiotics, within 2-3 days you will be alright. Take some decongestant medicine for chocking episode. Put some decongestant nasal drops. Go for vicks vapor inhalation. Avoid cold drinks and junk food. Ok and take care.
