Burning Vagina After Improperly Using Podofilix Solution To Treat Vaginal Warts. Will Applying Bacitracin And Vaseline Help?

I improperly used a solution of Podofilix to treat vaginal warts. I put it on my labia minora, think some got on to my vaginal opening as well. now that whole area burns and is white. I've been washing, drying, and applying bacitracin and Vaseline on the areas but not sure if that's the way for it to properly heal. HELP please!

Hi thanks for your question.
Podofilix can cause burns if applied to the mucosal surfaces. That is what has happened to you. Treatment your taking is right, Keep applying bactricin on burned area ,hopefully burns will get healed in a week time .if the burns didn't responded to local treatment you may need systemic antibiotics for which you have to consult a physician.
Hope this answers your question.
