Butt Pain With A Feeling Of Pressure, Difficulty In Standing, Diagnosed To Be Anal Fissure. Could It Be Something Else?

I have been having pain with my butt. It feels like there is a lot of pressure in my left buttcheek and it hurts to stand, sit, sometimes it even hurts while i am laying down. The doctor said i have an anal fissure but i think there is something else wrong. i just went to put cream on it and i feel a hard lump type thing in my left buttcheek

Thank you for getting in touch with us. The signs and symptoms you mentioned here are classic for anal fissure. Anal fissure can be an irritating problem. Although you could be having some other problem too, it would not be possible for us to comment without examining you. Have you ever had passage of blood with stool? Is there any pain with defecation? Just get back to us with your answers and we would be able to guide you better. Hope this helps
