Can Adipex-P Be Taken Despite Being On The Opioid Dependency Program?
Hi! I have been taking zubsolv that is prescribed by my physician for opioid dependency. I know that I am not to take any opioids/narcotics. I went to another doctor today for their diet program and was given adipex/phentermine 37.5 mg. the doctor there told me the adipex is a controlled substance but is not a narcotic...it s just a stimulant. I am wondering if this is fine. I do not want to get kicked out of my opioid dep program. I m just worried about my urine tests and things like that. Thank you!
Depends on the rules of the narcotic program. Certainly your urine will show amphetamine. This is generally regarded as not a good finding in drug screens and can be a reason to discharge someone. Different programs have different rules.
