I m using azederm at 7pm n then using picon cream before going to sleep. I am taking isotroin 20 tab daily.n in d morning I am applying atopiclair cream n then a sunscreen called ansolar spf 30 over it.it sometimes makes my cheeks hot n red.I have rosacea.when in d morning I wake up my cheeks remains normal.but with the day passing on it become red n hot too.its reduced coz of medication which I m taking now.I want to know whethr m I on proper treatment?I have been using it for 3months.shall I continue it more?
Roseacea is an inflammatory disorder which is aggrevated by sun exposure. You must avoid sun exposure as much as possible. Avoid hot and spicy food as it increased flushing. Continue using sunscreen. Topical treatment options include metronidazole, ivermectin and azelic acid.Brimonidine is a newer topical therapy with promising results in reducing erythema. Oral treatment options include doxycycline and isotretinoin. Discuss the above mentioned therapy with your dermatologist.Regards
