Can Bacilli Infection Harm Pregnancy?

Hi..I am Amit from Navi mumbai..My wife completed 8 month of pregnancy today but yesterday we have received her urine report..some Bacilli infection that found in her urine...Doctor suggested us to take SITAL sirup for that..just wanted to ask on thing..Is there any risk to Baby because of this ??

hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum.As you din't tell about the report that what is the count /no of bacilli but anyways if the infection is mild then it will go off in 4-5 days with the medicine.If it persists then may create some problem.but your baby will not get affected so early.so its better to follow the doctor's instruction and get rid off this problem.good luck.
