Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter (30) was prescribed citrulline 2 days ago to combat stress at work. She has been signed off for 2 weeks. She is just telling me she woke at 4, sweating and screaming , having a panic attack. She feels so sickly and sweaty - is this normal or jusy a bad reaction to the medication?
Thankyou for the Question Brief ..could be because of anxiety,or your daughter may need thyroid profile test.
Detail..As far as I know ,citrulline is a safe drug,if used with right dose and perscribed by a doctor. In my opinion ,if stress is uncontrolable and there are other effects too for example..weight changes, appetite changes and increased sweating, get a thyroid profile and discuss further with doctor. Hopefully my answer will be helpfull Regards, Dr.Maheshwari
