Can Clonidine And Melatonin Be Taken Twice A Day?

I accidentally gave my son his night medicine this morning. I realized it about 3 hours later, after he took an hour and a half nap after being up for only 2 hours. Can I give him his night medicine tonight? It’s been about 14 hours since he had it. He take clonidine & melatonin at night.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes, you can give your son his medicines again. Most probably their levels are now into normal and his body is waiting for the next dose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
