Can Colchicine Be Taken For Gout While On Plavix And Eliquis?
Hi. I had a stent placed in my heart a couple of days ago. That’s going fine. My question is related to a current acute gout attack. I need to know if I can take colchicine along with the meds I was put on following the stent procedure. Eliquis 5mg (2/day) and plavix 75 mg (1 /day). I am also taking 90 mg armoire thyroid. I am a 64 yr old male in otherwise good health.

Hello, Colchicine which has been prescribed for gout should be safe to take as it does not interact with the 2 other medications you are taking.
