Can Cortisone Tablets Be Taken For Lupus During Pregnancy?
my daughter is 30 weeks pregnant and has lupis, she is having trouble with her legs and a lot of pain. She has been advised to take 4 cortisone tablets per day for a week and then to taper off over the next few weeks till she is back to the normal dose of 1 tablet per day. Can this harm the baby?

These drugs are prescribed commonly during pregnancy, and are well known to be safe.
