Can Decongestant Be Harmful And Should She Stop Using It?

My 20 year old daughter, who suffers from allergy induced asthma, and is having an attack, has been prescribed Sudafed. I am sure that I was told that while she is being Nebulized every 3 hours, not to use a decongestant. Can this be harmful to her and should she stop using it?

hello there, nasal decongestant containing xylometazoline like compounds should not be taken on a regular basis. if it's asthma, then other drugs via inhalational route should be used. thank you.
