Can Doxepin And Hydroxyzine Be Taken Together For Eczema?
Can I take doxepin and hydroxyzine together? I have bacteria infection in feet...they/Dr derm is saying some type of eczema... But it itches so bad and none of meds work! I need to knock !myself out at night so I don t scratch!!! I have been prescribed both meds Thanks!

Yes both of these drugs can be prescribed together as per the need. In my practice, I initially prescribe levocetrizine and hydroxyzine. If the combination doesn't help my patient, I prefer adding doxepine .I also add doxepine in patient having pruritus severe enough to isturb sleep or cause anxiety.
