Can Dulera Cause Itchy Blisters, Heat Rashes And Bumps On Skin?
47yo female. Asthmatic on Dulera for 5 months. Untreated psoriasis on R knee 10+ years. Active hockey player. May have herpes genital herpes, taking lysine 500mg when I remember. Recently unemployed (no more health insurance). R knee surrounding psoriasis site and all down shin has exploded in itchy blisters. Heat rash like bumps on high upper thigh (bilateral), belly & L Elbow forearm. Could this be related to the Dulera? Have scratched leg due to Insane itching. Whole knee & shin now weeping clear yellow (3 days). Will call gp in am.
ok, Lysine is very UNLIKELY to cause this. All the other drugs and indeed many other things can cause an allergic reacon at any time after taking them even if they have been fine for years. or it can be something else and the drug is entirely conicedental BUT, allergic reacions are serious and a reason to immediately stop a medicine and get treatment for the allergy and to see if stopping the med fixes things. You might even want tot take it again to verify it was the drug that did it. (under sypervision of course).
