Can Duphaston Be Taken To Shorten Period Between Menstruation?
Hello my husband and I are planning to have a baby. I have an irregular cycle. I started taking Duphaston 3 months ago. my cycle last for 28 days during the first month then 31 days and again 32 days. However, the latest one lasted for 37 days. My husband is oversees and can only be here as we planned with a regular cycle. Is it anyway to take Duphaston to make my current cycle really short?

For conception, it is essential that you ovulate at the pre-set time and Duphaston cannot make that happen. You need to work with your gynecologist to see when you ovulate each cycle and if necessary, manipulate ovulation by inducing in the pre-set cycle. Duphaston may be able to make a cycle short if started early on, but that does not mean that the time of ovulation can be successfully altered. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
