Can Eustachian Tube Blockage Lead To Sinus Headache?
I had an ear tube inserted in left ear one month ago. It has been draining all that time. The ear evaluation doctor said after two weeks that the tube was blocked. Now I am having sinus headaches in that side. They go away in a few days, then come back quite severe. I can only take Tylenol for relief. Is the blocked tube causing this?
it is unlikely that the block tube will cause sinusitis. Rather tge reverse is true and a sinus infection can increase the discharge coming out from the ear. You may need to start on steroid Nadal sprays. please discuss this with your doctor. Thanks
