Can Fluoxetine Affect Pregnancy While Having Symptoms Like Late Period, Bloating, Nausea, And Fatigue?
Hi, I in August I was prescribed floxetine for anxiety me and my partner have had issues getting pregnant which has resulted in 3 miscarriages within a year and half, this month I am now late with my period 16 days but all the pregnancy tests are showing a negative however my stomach has ballooned, I m feeling nausea, I have moments we re I m tired or I can not sleep at all and having twinges and some back ache.

Nausea, generalized body swelling, bloating, muscle or joint pain may be a side effect of fluoxetine that you are taking. You are advised to get connected to your treating doctor and report to him your symptoms so that your dose can be reduced, or medicine replaced by other that suits you better or stopped if you are pregnant. Since you are experiencing early pregnancy like symptoms, get clinically examined by a Gynae, get a per vaginal check-up done to detect bulky uterus. You're treating Gynae will tell you to do USG (Uterus with fallopian tube) to rule out ectopic pregnancy or pregnancy.
