Can Gabapentin Be Taken With Meloxicam For Stomach Pain?

I had spinal fusion 9 days ago and have severe intestinal reaction to opioid pain relievers; latest was hydrocodone that I had to stop taking as it caused vomiting and diarrhea. I ve been on Extra-strength Tylenol (500 mg 6 in 24 hours) only, but it barely takes the edge off the pain. This AM I took a Meloxicam (Mobic) - 7.5 mg. with an over-the-counter anti-acid tablet to protect my stomach and I did a little better with the pain today. Now I need something again for the pain. Two questions: 1. Can I take any further Tylenol tonight and/or can I take Gabapentin (600mg) or another Meloxicam 2. My brother suggested I see if my doctor would write a prescription for hydromorphone. I have not looked up this drug and wondered what I should be aware of for my situation. Kay

Gabapentine is not recommended with meloxicam as there are
many possible interactions can be there .
Another meloxicam can be taken at night .

2. Hydromorphone is centrally acting opioid analgesic which is much
stronger than hydrocodone .
