Can Ganaton OD And Rablet D Cause Heart Palpitation?

i am on medications for gastritis and deudinits. I have been prescribed ganaton OD and rablet D for treatment. I have palpitations all the time these days. Please let me know the cause for the same and is it because of any side effect of the medicine?

Hello,

Rablet D may not be the drug but Ganaton OD may have some chest pain. Some studies say, the chemical that is present in Ganaton OD (Itopride) may have heart beating abnormalities (cardiac arrhythmia).

So, what to do next?

1. Do an ECG without any delay
2. Do not increase the dosage of Ganaton
3. Feed on light and healthy diet because you have gastritis.

ECG can tell you what is the cause of this heart palpitation and if we get the ECG abnormalities which may occur from Ganaton (Itopride), the drug has to change.
