Can Gelusil Antacid Syrup Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Hiii... I am a pregnant lady completed my first month of pregnancy, and i have severe acidity problem,, can i take the Gelusil Mps Antacid syrup as a solution for this acidity problem, if it cause any side effect for my pregnancy.. I have come spotting issues also.

Gelusil can be safely taken in pregnancy but in case problem persists then you should visit a physician for some tablets to stop the same
