Can HCG Of 407 Doesn T Show Any Fetus Of 5 Weeks?
My doctor said I was about 5 weeks. I went for an ultrasound the next day, and they tech said that she couldn t see any sign of a baby. My hcg level is 407, which they said is low for 5 weeks. I m really hoping that I m just not as far along as they re telling me, so everything is just too small to see.

Hi, hcg levels of 407 is low for the 5th week, what u have to do is repeat the hcg in 48hrs n check it has doubled, which means you are having a normal pregnancy and that you must hav mistaken your date or ovulated late last month. Hcg value should be a minimum of 1000 for the doctor to see the sac at the 5th week through transvaginal scan. So do the next scan in a week if the hcg levels are high enough. Lets hope for the best.
