Hello
Thanks for asking question.
HIV, The Human
immunodeficiency virus spread through exchange of bodily fluids.
That is one can get infected if there is exchange of blood, semen (sexual contact that result in exchange of fluids), breast milk, injection
drug abuse, from infected mother to new-born, infected organ or
blood transfusion etc.
An infected HIV patient may transfer the disease to healthy individual by any of the above mentioned means.
The question that matters is, Do you know that the girl was infected with HIV?
If yes then one should have concerns. Because an infected person may transfer the disease to healthy one. if she was HIV positive and If there was some exchange of body fluids occurred between you and her then there is a risk.
You had tested yourself nearly two weeks after the contact. I suggest you to test yourself again for HIV to eliminate your doubts. According to the literature exchange of fluids transfer HIV, merely touching dirty clothes doesn't transfer infection. But to be on the safe side, you may choose to get yourself tested once again.
Kind Regards.
