Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic. Hydrochlorothiazide is used for treatment of fluid retention (edema) in patients with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, or kidney disorders, or edema caused by taking steroids or estrogen. It is also used as anti – hypertensive. It causes increased loss of potassium from the body causing deficiency of potassium (hypokalemia) and its complications. So potassium supplementation is given along with hydrochlorothiazide. So you are correctly taking Klor-con (potassium chloride) along with hydrochlorothiazide.
Advice
1.     Continue taking hydrochlorothiazide along with klor-con as suggested by your doctor
Thanks
