Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can I Eat Potatoes With High Value Of Triglycerides?
I am being warned about my tryglyc. are too high, but the food they recommend is not keeping me active all day. I m tired and out of energy. Potatoes I hear now are bad, but they are the only thing that keeps me full enough to study. If I get back in to running, then that should help right? I just need to dispurse the sugars? Sincerely, Kyle
You can have potatoes in limited amounts and try to stay physically active throughout the day. Avoid too much of oily and fried stuff. For eg. having baked potatoes, boiled potatoes with skin is better than having them as deep-fried potato chips or french fries. So, include some starchy foods also but have them in moderation. Simple sugars are best avoided when having high triglycerides. Hope this answers your query.
