Can I Have Gastric Bypass When Having Diabetes And High BP?
My sister is 45, weighs 500 + pounds, she wants a gastric bypass but she is diabetic and has high blood pressure. Is she a candidate? I told her it looks either way she is going to die. She says the only insurance she has is Tricare. We live in South Carolina. Would you know who we could ask?

Dear madam i can understand your concern.
i am very sorry for your sister condition.
In my opinion your sister is the right candidate for Bariatric Surgery.
There is lot of evidence showing that after this surgery there will be lot of improvement in blood pressure also.
