Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Can I Have Normal Sex After Having Prostate Surgery?
I had the Blue Light surgery done on my prostate about a year ago. Every thing works like it used to be when I was a lot younger (my age is 85). I have not been able to try doing any thing since my Wife had a stroke ; and did die the same day 2 years ago. Draining my bladder is now like it used to be when I was much younger. Would I be able to have normal sex; if I would have an oportunitly ? Or would discharge go backworth like it used to be before the mentioned operation ?
After having prostate surgery you should be able to have normal sex. Sometimes the semen may still go backwards but would not interfere with the orgasm. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help
