Hello my name is shaniel Guthrie and I am 9 months pregnant and I recently found out that I have genital herpes . I wanted to know if I can pass it through cooking because I have a small cut on my finger and I make food for.my little brother and I make homemade juice and I squeeze the fruits with my hands can I pass my genital herpes through a cut in my finger

Chances of contracting Herpes at your fingers is possible if you have a weeping genital outbreak and you touched fluids even then unless you have open cuts on your hand. It possible to transmit herpes to someone else through your fingers at the time of an outbreak provided it enters the skin/mucosa through a break in the skin/mucosa because remember:To infect people, the herpes simplex viruses (both HSV-1 and HSV-2) must access the body through broken skin or mucous membrane.
