Can I Pills Cause Delayed Periods?

I had sex and after 2 hours I took I pill and after taking it there was no problem like vomiting or bidding.... But I didn t get my periods this month... It was of 22nd and today is 24.... So please suggest it should be delayed because of I pill or because of season change too cold or any other reasons... Please suggest what to do...

Hallow Dear,

I-pill has to be taken within 72 hours of the unprotected intercourse. You have consumed within two days. So you are well protected against pregnancy.

I-pill contains progestational medicine. Hence after taking the pill, there may be some little bleeding after a few days. Also, the following period can get delayed by few days to a week or so.

Your periods have just been delayed by a couple of days. Have no stress. They will come within few days.
