Can I Smoke Cannabis While On Antibiotics?

I just received antibiotics from my doctor, I have been on them for almost 24 hours, and my friend asked me if I wanted to go smoke pot with him tonight, yes it is legal where I live, and I use it medicinally, but is it safe to use with antibiotics? I read up online and most people said yes but I’m not sure!

Hi,

Yes, the antibiotics are not changed by the cannabis. In respiratory infections, it is not a good idea because any smoke will irritate the respiratory tract. If the infection is say, a skin infection, the cannabis will not have an interaction with the antibiotic.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
